Miri is a mother bird struggling to look after her three egg children. One day, they will grow into three, fine, respectable BIRD children - but until then Miri just has to put up with dumbass circles that run away from anything that looks even slightly authoritative.
She's always looking for babysitters, chasing that idyllic, nice, quiet night in. Unfortunately, nobody in the Hotel ever offers to look after her kids more than once, thanks to their hyperactive, literally-bouncing-off-of-the-walls behaviour. She can get quite snappy with people over this. But also, she's running on three hours of sleep and half a cup of coffee most days. So, she's allowed to be a bit shouty, I think.
